英國 Usborne 童書全系列介紹【0~3歲篇】
關於 Usborne 兒童讀物
相信不少有在涉獵英文童書的爸爸媽媽一定對大名鼎鼎的 Usborne 出版社不陌生，Usborne 的童書分成很多系列，可以讓你依照年齡、主題或是書本內容來選購，從0歲到13歲都可以找到適合的書看，色彩鮮豔明亮，精緻好質感。
打從 Corey 還沒出生時，我就在媽媽群組聽到許多人大力推薦 Usborne 書籍，也跟風買了好多本童書，在當時都只能買到原文童書，但因為 Usborne 童書實在太受爸爸媽媽歡迎了，在近幾年甚至有將一些暢銷系列的童書翻譯成中文版，讓親子共讀更容易上手。
由於 Usborne 兒童讀物種類繁多，面對上千本玲瑯滿目的精美童書，對於想入手的媽媽們可能會一時不知從何買起，各年齡段的孩子適合看什麼繪本？現在就來針對各年齡族群做分類，介紹 Usborne 全系列兒童讀物給有興趣的媽媽們參考，在選購童書時會比較有概念該從何下手。

適合 0~3 歲寶寶閱讀的書
對於每個寶寶來說閱讀永遠不嫌早，唸書給寶寶聽能幫助他們發展重要的語言能力，媽媽只需要一邊指著書上的圖案一邊說出簡單的句子，說什麼內容其實並不是那麼重要，只要讓寶寶能聽見妳說的話就好，不要只是念單字，可以指著圖案跟寶寶說在這一頁有甚麼內容，當寶寶不斷重複聽到這些句子時，他們就會開始理解媽媽說的是什麼。
重複朗誦是幫助寶寶閱讀的關鍵，當反覆閱讀多次同一本書後，可以讓寶寶每次在閱讀時越來越熟悉這本書的內容，並且會有預期心理期待接下來會發生的事，最後，就會將書上某頁的內容和媽媽所說的句子產生連結。
這階段的寶寶不管是語言能力、視覺能力、或是辨認能力都開始迅速發展，如果父母每天能花一點時間與寶寶共讀，講些簡單的小故事，可以刺激寶寶的語言表達能力，還可以促進大腦及視覺方面的發展。

Baby’s very first play books系列
Baby’s very first play books 系列是一套 Usborne 暢銷全球的遊戲書，每頁都經過精心設計，以色彩鮮艷圖案在視覺上引起寶寶的興趣，結合了觸摸不同材質、小翻頁、手指滑動壓痕線的軌跡、挖洞偷窺等各種寶寶最愛的操作機關，集各種操作功能於一書。
除了上述共同特色外，此系列也出了四本音效遊戲書，每本書右側多了十種音效按鈕，閱讀內頁的同時可以搭配音效按鈕播放聲音。三本 Baby’s very first fingertrail playbook 機關設計上以『手指軌道』為主，寶寶可以運用手指沿著軌道滑動，訓練細部肌肉。Baby’s very first play books 系列還有五本不同主題的單字書，收錄各主題常用到的基礎英文單字。

一口氣介紹完 Usborne 為 0~3 歲寶寶推出的系列書籍，媽媽們會不會讚嘆於這家童書出版社的專業，居然能有這麼多系列的寶寶書呢？在所有的系列中，Usborne 最令人印象深刻的，就是各種遊戲書，包括立體書、貼紙書、翻翻書、厚頁書、觸摸書、音效書等。
